MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENT SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS
Ohio Patients are OUTRAGED (Columbus, OH) On Friday, March 24, 2006, Randy
Brush of Wellsville, Ohio, was sentenced to prison time for felony marijuana
possession and cultivation. Columbiana County Judge C. Ashley Pike, a Republican,

3/21 Hearing on HB/SB 8 - Ohio's DUID Bill
OPN member, Mary Jane Borden, attended the Ohio House Criminal Justice Committee's
hearing on HB/SB 8 on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Rob Ryan, who has testified before
about this proposed "Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs" (DUID)
legislation, put together testimony, but couldn't make it to Columbus. Borden
attended instead, taking 25 copies of Ryan's written testimony with her.

STATE ASKS COURT TO TOSS SD COUNTY MEDICAL MARIJUANA SUIT
NORTH COUNTY, CA ---- State officials formally asked judges to throw out San
Diego County's precedent-setting lawsuit seeking to overturn California's 10-year-old
medical marijuana law, saying that the only controversy over the law was in
the minds of county supervisors.

RAIDED POT 'EDIBLES' TROUBLE ADVOCATES
A day after federal agents seized thousands of marijuana plants and a booty
of pot-laced candy and soda pop in raids on warehouses in Emeryville and Oakland,

City puts moratorium on pot dispensaries
PICO RIVERA, CA - Fearing Pico Rivera could get caught with no regulations
in place for medical marijuana dispensaries, the City Council has unanimously
moved to put a temporary ban on any such facilities until it can establish rules
