SPEAKERS WANTED:

Help OPN support the right of patients to use marijuana therapeutically in the State of Ohio by joining the OPN Speakers Bureau.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking patients, caregivers, activists, health care professionals and other concerned citizens who are willing and able to educate others or who have a compelling story to tell about their experience with medical marijuana and/or its prohibition. We are also seeking those who have professional, medical or technical experience with cannabis or cannabis therapeutics.

Previous public speaking experience is wonderful, but not required.

TARGET AUDIENCES:

Typically, our audiences include patients, health officials, legislators, health-care oriented organizations, the media, and the public. As an OPN speaker, you may be asked to speak at health organization meetings, legislative hearings, civic debates, pro-marijuana rallies and/or press conferences.

SUPPORT PROVIDED:

Speakers receive free speech training, educational flyers and lots of moral support, as well as comprehensive speech training materials prepared by a professional speech coach.

REWARDS:

In addition to a modest cash stipend and mileage reimbursement, you get the satisfaction of telling your story, sharing your experience and knowing you helped educate people about the therapeutic qualities of cannabis. You also share in a community of speakers who support each other.
