Help kick off MS Awareness Month on March 6, 2007 at the National MS Society’s State Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
Join the movement by informing your legislator how MS impacts your life.
State Advocacy Day consists of a training session starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by lunch with state legislators at 11:30 a.m. From 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., group visits will be made to the legislative offices.
Don’t miss the bus! New this year will be a bus bringing advocates from the Cleveland area to Columbus. The bus will leave the Society office in Independence at 7:30 a.m. and take advocates to Columbus for the day.
Those needing to travel back on the bus will depart at 3:30 p.m.
There is no cost for the program and no experience is required.
The Society just needs your time and energy at State Advocacy Day to help educate legislators about multiple sclerosis.
