The Ohio Patient Network (OPN) will hold its Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 22nd, from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Westerville Public Library in Westerville, Ohio. Westerville is a Northeast suburb of Columbus.

At the Annual Meeting, the first item of business will be the election of officers. These officers will take office immediately and guide the organization over the next year. The seven OPN board positions are listed below along with who currently fills them.

Board positions are open to all qualified members in good standing. Current board members can be renominated to their posts. However, please do not nominate retiring board members as they have indicated they will not accept another term or position.

To nominate someone, please include the person's name, either their phone number or e-mail address, and a brief paragraph concerning why you think this person is qualified for the position. You can also include relevant links about them, if applicable. Nominees unknown to the current OPN leadership will be contacted to verify their interest and qualifications.

Nominations can be posted to OPN's 'General' E-mail Discussion List, e-mailed directly to Mary Jane Borden at mjborden@ohiopatient.net, or submitted by postal mail to P.O. Box 26353, Columbus, OH 43226. Please note that all nominations, however received, will be posted to the General List as a compilation of names throughout the nomination period.

The nomination period for OPN board positions will be from Friday, September 15, through Sunday, October 15. Please submit your nominations during this time frame. Nominations received after October 15 will not be considered unless there is no one to fill the position.
